Selection of a Propriet Form of External Funding of a Company

The bachelor thesis deals with the selection of suitable form of external financing of the company. The individual options are first defined in general in the theoretical part and then compared to each other for specific purposes of the entrepreneur in the analytical part. After analysing the different ways of external financing, the most favourable option for the situation is recommended.

This diploma thesis focuses on the assessment of financial resources for the acquisition of real estate. Specifically, the thesis deals with the issue of purchasing an apartment using a mortgage loan. In this case, the investor is a young married couple. The diploma thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part deals with housing, the real estate market, real estate valuation and real estate financing sources in its chapters. The practical part primarily focuses on the choice of the banking institution, which will provide the couple with a mortgage loan, and also the banking institutions, which will provide the consumer with a consumer credit for financing the remaining necessary amount of the flat price.
Approaches of managers to prevent workplace bullying in the banking sector

The bachelor's thesis is concerned with the approaches of managers to prevent workplace bullying in the banking sector. It aims at knowledge and experience of individual managers with terms mobbing, bossing, staffing and at current situation in branches of various banking institutions. It also analyses approaches taken by banking institutions to this matter and their influence on the education of managers. A questionnaire examines whether managers take action to stop workplace bullying and how they handle potential conflict situations. Based on the research, managers take measures to prevent workplace bullying and banking institutions provide proper training. However, the knowledge of basic terms in this matter is relatively low and managers mostly do not know how to deal with workplace bullying properly. The thesis also proposes a list of suggestions for improving the knowledge of managers and for maintaining good relations in the workplace.

Audit of banking institutions in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis deals with external audit of banks in Czech Republic. The main objective of this thesis is to describe in detail the techniques, strategy and methods which are used by the external auditor during the engagement and to compare them with those used in internal audit. The main emphasis during the stage of interim audit is put on control of risk management activities. The first part of this diploma thesis is devoted to theoretical issues and legal aspects of audit profession. Specific characteristics of banking institutions audit including major risks and the scope of external auditor's activities are described in the second chapter of the thesis. Third part describes the main stages, used methodology and the process of external audit of banking institutions. Last chapter is devoted to a brief description of the internal auditor's activities in the bank and their comparison with the external audit.
Application of Balanced Scorecard in a banking institution

This thesis focuses on the use and application of strategic tool Balanced Scorecard (BSC) for managing banking institution and translation the strategy into particular objectives and initiatives. Theoretical background affects both BSC framework taking into account modern trends of the dynamic system conception and also basics of information society, strategic considerations and system dynamics theory in relation to creating and application of the BSC in the organization. The practical part provides an introduction to the issues of examined institution, the current state of sharing strategic objectives, fundamental analysis to detect key features of the organization and the market and especially BSC formation. There is an analysis of the BSC system in details, translation strategy into concrete objectives, targets, initiatives and also selected measures. The integrity of the thesis is supplemented by a suggested process of dynamic BSC implementation to the institution, introduction of the tool for building a dynamic model for simulation of strategies and the concept of the user interface in the selected tool for sharing BSC through the whole organization.
Consumer loans provided by banking and non-banking institutions

This thesis deals with consumer loans provided by banking and non-banking institutions in the Czech Republic. The aim is to compare the access of providers, representing concrete group, to clients. The thesis defines the most important concepts which are closely related to this issue, likewise regulations and laws that apply to this area of business. It describes in detail the process of loans providing, from loan application to loan repayment, alternatively not repaying the loan, including a brief mention about the psychology of the debtor and the effect of advertising on one's decision. Attention is paid to registers which are accessible to the individual providers. The practical part deals with selected banking and non-banking institutions and evaluates their different or comparable access to consumers.

The Master thesis describes comprehensively all action of exaction an outstanding debts in banking since origin of defaulted credit up to execution. In the thesis the action of out of court exaction is briefly explained. Nevertheless, the main part of the thesis is takes heed of the judicial exaction. The thesis deals with the selected points at issue from the sphere of judicial trial, compares the judicial trial with the trial of arbitration in point of view their effectiveness. The thesis explains process of debt restructuring an outstanding debt and compares also types of executions. Conclusion of the thesis highlights a question of sale an outstanding debts and leave their management to collecting companies. The aim of the thesis is to provide a well-arranged instruction to banking institutions how to exact their outstanding debts effectively and bring the advantages and disadvantages of particular ways of exaction to attention. At the same time this thesis should be a contribution for public in order to become acquainted with the action of exaction an outstanding debts in banking.
